About the Event

Naheed Nenshi served as Mayor of Calgary from 2010-2021. I’ve long been fascinated by Nenshi’s approach to politics, and specifically his ability to communicate complex ideas in language many people seem to understand. A friend noticed he was visiting Halifax on other business, so I reached out, and organized an event at a café on the Halifax waterfront. He spoke briefly about his approach to politics and then fielded questions from attendees.
